How do I change default Asterisk manager password?
Solution
You will need to change the password in the amportal and manager.conf of your Asterisk server.
Edit your /etc/amportal.conf file
Change the amp111 and amp109
# AMPDBPASS: the password for AMPDBUSER
AMPDBPASS=
amp109
## AMPMGRPASS: the password for AMPMGRUSER
AMPMGRPASS=
amp111
Edit your /etc/asterisk/manager.conf
[admin]
secret =
amp111
deny=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
permit=127.0.0.1/255.255.255.0
read = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user
write = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user
